Datago began its activities as a consultant for BI (Business Intelligence) and ETL (Extract Transform Load) projects with a product for market intelligence.

We currently provide Business Intelligence (BI) projects using Tableau and Power BI software. These solutions allow the creation of interactive dashboards and visual reports, facilitating the understanding and interpretation of data.

BI projects aim to optimize the analysis and visualization of data related to an organization's operations in its various areas and assist in decision making, such as Commercial, Financial, Production, Inventory and many others!

Pentaho (ETL)

With Pentaho Data Integration, ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) work is carried out, that is, the process of connecting different data sources, cleaning this data and building a view of only what interests the customer in a DW (Data Warehouse).

Extract

Extracting raw data from various sources - such as files, databases and APIs - and storing it in a staging area, which is a temporary storage area for the extracted data.

Transform

Transformation and consolidation of raw data in the preparation area so that it is more suitable for analysis. There are two types of data transformation:

Basic transformation: data cleaning, deletion of duplicate data, review of formats, etc.
Advanced transformation: applying your business rules to data, linking similar data, separating data, summarizing information or encrypting data.

Load

Loading the transformed data into the destination database, that is, a Data Warehouse. This process is done automatically and the load can be done completely - generally, the first time data is uploaded - and incrementally in a scheduled periodic upload of data added after the last update.

Data Warehouse

As the name suggests, "data warehouse", it is the place where historical data is gathered and related. At DW we can control data performance and ensure that only relevant data is being uploaded to your BI tool, such as Tableau.
